Britta Phillips - Luck or Magic ((CD))

LUCK OR MAGIC is the debut solo album by Britta Phillips, current member of Luna and Dean & Britta (with husband Dean Wareham). Born in Pennsylvania, Britta's first singing gig was the voice of the 80's TV cartoon character Jem (of Jem & The Holograms). She went on to found the shoegaze band Belltower before joining Luna in 2000.

Luck or Magic is comprised of five original compositions by Britta and five covers -- songs by Agnetha of ABBA, Evie Sands, Dennis Wilson and "Drive" by the Cars. It was co-produced by Britta and Eric Broucek (Eleanor Friedberger, LCD Soundsystem) and features guitars by Dean Wareham and Sean Eden of Luna.
